Danica Whitney

Danica has been with Metro Dance Center since she was 3 years old, dancing in both recreational classes and on competitive lines. She has been teaching both recreational and competition classes at Metro Dance Center since 2003 and has the honor of also teaching our Adult Tap, Dancing Moms and Dancing Dads. Danica is a graduate from Argosy University with an Associate of Applied Science Degree and is a Certified Veterinary Technician. She recently graduated from Century College and Metropolitan State with her Bachelor’s degree in Business and a minor in Advertising. Danica’s specialty is inspiring dancers of all ages to fulfill their passion and love of dance, while providing them the ability to learn essential steps and proper technique to move forward in their dancing careers. She loves to watch her dancers become more confident and fall in love with dance the way she has as they progress throughout the season. In her down time, she enjoys traveling as much as possible, scrapbooking, fishing, camping, and spending time with family and friends.  She especially loves going to the Minnesota Zoo to see the tigers!
