About Us
Metro Dance Center has been providing quality dance instruction in a fun and positive environment for decades. We have a history of creating a family-friendly environment where dancers can learn new skills, make new friends, and have fun! Opened in 1975, the studio is currently run by Danielle Wood-Twohy and Becky Jacobs .
We have many experienced staff members, many of whom were once students here at the studio who have returned to share their love of dance with children. Our competition lines consistently earn top honors at local competitions in the Twin Cities area.
We offer a variety of classes for all students of all ages and abilities taught by well-qualified, professional, adult instructors. Metro Dance Center is conveniently located in Shoreview (at the intersection of Hwy 96 & Lexington Ave.). Stop by during regular hours or contact us to set up a time to tour the studio and meet with a staff member.
