Known around Metro Dance Center as the ‘Costume Queen”, Julie has been working as a full-time costume director at Metro Dance since 2002, in addition to working with various high school dance teams. Collaborating with the awesome teachers at Metro Dance to make their visions come to life on stage, Julie is constantly looking for new and innovative designs to keep Metro on the cutting edge. Julie has won numerous costume awards and is grateful every day for her “dream job”. Her reward comes every year when she watches the whole package on stage…..when the dancers, the choreography and the costumes come together to tell a story. In her free time, Julie loves spending time with her daughter and grandson, cooking elaborate meals and hanging with family and friends, and quilting.
